Yes, our pie crust and our crumb tops are made with Trans Fat-free oils.
We can have your pies arrive 4 days after the day you place your order. We need 2 days to bake and cool the pies and another 2 days for our standard delivery. (example: order Monday, pies ship Wednesday, pies arrive on Friday) But remember, you can have arrival when you want because we ship 4 days a week. You can order weeks in advance and select the specific date you’d like your pies to arrive.
Our pies and cakes arrive fresh and ready to eat. They can be served up to three days from the day you receive them. Fruit pies are best stored on your counter and at room temperature. We don’t recommend refrigeration as it causes the crust to become soggy. Cream, pumpkin, pecan pies, cheesecakes, and carrot cakes should be refrigerated. If you will not be serving your pie or cake right away, we recommend freezing it. Keep your fruit pies in the box to freeze. Keep all other pies in their container and place them in the freezer. When ready to serve, remove from the freezer, and remove packaging to thaw overnight on the counter. View our Pie Care Instructions for more information.
Our pies will have a 3-day shelf life once they arrive. Fruit Pies do best on the counter at room temperature – we do not recommend refrigerating them. Our Cream, Pumpkin, and Pecan Pies should be stored in the refrigerator for those 3 days. Each package will include pie care instructions as well.
If you’d prefer to overnight your pies that additional charge is $24.99 per package. Remember we can have up to 2 pies in one box for the same shipping charges.
Our Fruit Pies are packaged in a breathable paper bag surrounded by air pillows for a cushion. Any of our Cream, Pumpkin, Pecan Pies, Cakes, or Baked Goods will ship in foam coolers with ice packs.
The tracking number for your order will be emailed to you once UPS picks up the pies. You should see that email around 5:00 PM on the ship date indicated on your Order Confirmation.
No signature is required so the pies will be left at the door for you to receive when you are home. UPS does use their discretion and may not leave the package if they feel it might be easily taken. This could be the case for some apartment complexes where the recipients’ front door is in a high-traffic area.
Always select “Standard Delivery” when it’s available. If you are ordering far enough in advance you will see this option for Wednesday, Thursday & Friday delivery dates. Some areas will have Standard Delivery options for Tuesday and Saturday. Remember we can have up to 2 pies in one box for the same shipping charges.
Since UPS doesn't pick up on the weekends we do not have an option for pies to arrive on a Monday and still be fresh.
